Our preschool early education program offers a warm and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and build the confidence they need for elementary school. Our goal is to nurture a love of learning while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence.
Throughout the day, children participate in a variety of hands-on activities such as exploring art materials, reading stories, building with blocks and manipulatives, enjoying dramatic play, and using tools that strengthen fine motor skills. These experiences help children learn through play while developing important early learning skills.
We also place a strong focus on building social and communication skills, helping children learn how to work together, express themselves, and feel comfortable in a classroom setting. By creating a supportive and encouraging environment, we help make the transition into kindergarten and a more structured school day feel natural and exciting.
Meals & Snacks
At Little Sprouts of Idaho, we gather around the table together each day for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks served at consistent times. Our meals follow the USDA food program guidelines and are thoughtfully prepared to provide balanced, nourishing foods that help little bodies grow strong and healthy.
If your child has any allergies or food restrictions, please let us know. We’re happy to work closely with families to make sure every child can eat safely and comfortably with us.
What to Bring
Please send your child with one full change of clothing labeled with their full name. Having an extra pair of underwear is also very helpful in case of accidents. Each child should bring a small blanket for rest time so they can feel comfortable and cozy during their nap.
Our days include lots of play, creativity, and hands-on exploration, so clothing may get messy. Please dress your child in comfortable clothes that can handle a little dirt, paint, and adventure.
Daily Schedule
Each day at Little Sprouts of Idaho is filled with a balance of care, learning, and joyful play. Children spend their time enjoying meals, rest time, active play, music, dancing, arts and crafts, puzzles, story time, and outdoor play whenever the weather allows.
Our daily activities gently support children as they prepare for school through experiences with letters, creative arts, early literacy, math, science, and learning kind manners. We focus on helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a fun, nurturing environment.
